About
May 18th, 2007
I’m a native of Lincoln, Nebraska, currently living in Winston Salem, NC, where I’m a visiting assistant professor of creative writing at Salem College. I write mostly fiction, a little bit of poetry. Nonfiction is very difficult for me because of my penchant for lying. Stories and poems have appeared in Shenandoah, Missouri Review, Other Voices, Nebraska Review, and other literary magazines. My short fiction collection, Three Versions of the Truth, will be published by Press 53 in September. I’m currently working on a novel set in Red Cloud, Nebraska (Willa Cather’s hometown).
